About The Position
Decontaminates and reprocesses all in-house prepared sterile supplies. Issues, tracks, decontaminates, maintains, transports various types of patient care equipment, to provide Quality Patient Care.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must pass a nationally accredited central service exam for CRCST and maintain certification (for newly hired CSP Techs as of December 28, 2020).
- Must complete 10 hours of continuing education annually.
- Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
Nice To Haves
- Central Sterile Processing experience.
- CSP technicians will have 18 months from date of hire to pass a nationally accredited central service exam.
