This Full-Time opportunity working evenings is for a Sterile Processing Technician to support the Sterile Processing Department at Baptist Nassau. The position offers up to a $1,000 sign-on bonus if hired. Requirements
- 1-2 years Instrument Experience
- 1-2 years Surgical Instrumentation Experience
- Linen Processing Experience
- Knowledge of regulatory protocols.
- High School Diploma
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) Required
- Certification Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) Required
Responsibilities
- Understand principles of sterilization.
- Wrap instruments/linen properly, while selecting correct supplies to be used for sterilization.
- Able to prioritize duties.
- Knowledge of sterilization equipment and processes they perform.
- Able to decontaminate surgical instrumentation and re-assemble into trays.
