About The Position

This is a 13-week assignment for a Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) in the Sterile Processing Department. The role involves ensuring surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly decontaminated, assembled, sterilized, and prepared for patient care. The position requires working 8-hour variable day shifts, Monday through Friday, with a requirement to work every third weekend. Floating to affiliated locations may be necessary based on staffing needs. Candidates must reside outside the facility's radius at the time of assignment.

Requirements

• Active Sterile Processing certification required
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification
• Knowledge of decontamination, instrument assembly, sterilization, and sterile storage procedures
• Ability to float to affiliated locations as needed
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and infection prevention practices
• Must reside outside the required facility radius at the time of assignment

Nice To Haves

• Associate Degree, Certificate, or equivalent Sterile Processing experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing experience preferred
