Requirements
- Works under the supervision of the Manager-OR/SPD.
Responsibilities
- Performs all the duties of the Registered/Certified Sterile Processing Technologist.
- Creates and updates instrument inventory lists and checklists.
- Monitors inventory levels and orders supplies when needed.
- Coordinates with SPD and OR specialists to maintain appropriate instrument sets.
- Monitors and tracks instrument repairs and replacements.
- Manages loaner instrumentation sets.
- Works closely with Instrument Reps, vendors, and OR Specialists to ensure appropriate instrumentation is available.
