About The Position

Fortis College Houston South is seeking an experienced, motivated Sterile Processing professional to join its faculty and teach in the Sterile Processing Program. The part-time adjunct faculty position primarily involves teaching Sterile Processing courses. The typical teaching load is two courses each term, with one or two preparations. The instructor will also provide academic advising to students and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Sterile Processing program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma.
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification.
• At least three years of experience as a CRCST.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven.

Nice To Haves

• An associate degree is preferred.
• Prior higher education or postsecondary teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
