About The Position

Prep Academy Tutors is a private in-home and online tutoring company providing flexible, personalized tutoring programs to Florida students from kindergarten through grade 12. The company specializes in all subject areas and hires certified teachers, subject matter experts, and people completing degrees in Education.

STEM Tutors provide individualized academic support based on their expertise and knowledge of the state curriculum. They help students understand material through supplemental assignments and remedial or enrichment support, tailor instruction to each student's needs and learning style, and communicate with parents or guardians about student progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Meet at least one of the following: hold a valid Florida State teaching certificate or equivalent; be a current student teacher pursuing a teaching certificate; have two or more years of experience as a private or charter school classroom teacher; have experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited U.S. university or college; or be a Master's or PhD student with experience as a teaching assistant at an accredited U.S. university or college.
• Teaching experience.
