STEM Tutor
About The Position
C2 Education seeks a part-time STEM Tutor to provide high-quality instruction following C2 Educational Systems Inc.'s curriculum and educational philosophy. The role focuses on fostering a positive learning environment and supporting students' academic growth and development. The tutor delivers instruction in person at the Fullerton location and conducts sessions after school hours. Typical hours are Monday through Thursday, 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; schedules may vary by location. C2 Education helps students pursue their academic goals through college test preparation, AP exam preparation, college essays and admissions support, K–12 tutoring, and AP/Summer Boot Camps.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Score at the 95th percentile on C2's diagnostic SAT, AP, or ACT test.

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum and learning goals.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents or guardians.
- Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.
- Communicate with parents or guardians about student progress and concerns.
- Participate in professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
- Follow C2 Educational Systems Inc.'s policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties relevant to the position and students' needs, as assigned.
- Provide tutoring in person.
