Florida Atlantic University (FAU) is seeking a STEM Librarian to join its Libraries. This position, reporting to the Assistant Dean for Access, Research, and Learning Services, will provide leadership in designing, delivering, and assessing research, instruction, and outreach services for STEM disciplines. The role involves collaborating with faculty, researchers, and students to integrate information literacy, data literacy, and emerging research practices into teaching and learning. The STEM Librarian will deliver orientations and instructional programming using various methods, including workshops, course-integrated instruction, and online materials. A key aspect of the role includes serving one day a week at the John D. Macarthur Campus Library in Jupiter to support the Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience, Stiles-Nicholson Brain Institute, and STEM faculty and students there, with the remaining days spent at the S.E. Wimberly Library in Boca Raton. FAU Libraries is looking for a student-focused, collaborative, organized, and innovative individual with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
