About The Position

We are looking for smart, creative, dynamic instructors from all backgrounds to teach LEGO classes and camps where students are introduced to a range of STEM concepts while being given the tools to unlock their creativity and their problem-solving skills. Instructors serve as a representative of Play-Well in a positive and professional manner, manage each class session ensuring children are safe, engaged, and having fun, and communicate with parents and clients in a knowledgeable, respectful and tactful manner. They must also adhere to all Play-Well and facility safety procedures and procedures for supervision and release of children, and ensure the care, safekeeping, and upkeep of assigned LEGO teaching kits.

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have a secure location to store teaching materials.
• Must pass all background checks as a condition of employment.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to perform bending, stooping, and crawling with children during class instruction.

Nice To Haves

• Teaching/Instruction experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach LEGO classes and camps, introducing students to STEM concepts.
• Unlock creativity and problem-solving skills in students.
• Serve as a positive and professional representative of Play-Well.
• Manage class sessions, ensuring children are safe, engaged, and having fun.
• Communicate with parents and clients respectfully and tactfully.
• Adhere to all safety procedures for supervision and release of children.
• Ensure care, safekeeping, and upkeep of assigned LEGO teaching kits.
• Respond quickly to communications from management.
• Regularly communicate with Area Manager with questions, concerns, and updates.
