About The Position

We are looking for smart, creative, dynamic instructors from all backgrounds to teach LEGO classes and camps where students are introduced to a range of STEM concepts while being given the tools to unlock their creativity and their problem-solving skills. Instructors serve as a representative of Play-Well in a positive and professional manner, manage each class session ensuring children are safe, engaged, and having fun, and communicate with parents and clients in a knowledgeable, respectful and tactful manner. They are also responsible for the care, safekeeping, and upkeep of assigned LEGO teaching kits and must adhere to all Play-Well and facility safety procedures.

Requirements

Must pass all background checks as a condition of employment.
Reliable transportation is a must.
Secure location to store teaching materials.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs to store and transport materials.
Ability to bend, stoop, and crawl with children during class instruction.

Nice To Haves

Teaching/Instruction experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Teach LEGO classes and camps, introducing students to STEM concepts and fostering creativity and problem-solving skills.
Manage class sessions, ensuring children are safe, engaged, and having fun.
Communicate with parents and clients knowledgeably, respectfully, and tactfully.
Adhere to all Play-Well and facility safety procedures.
Ensure the care, safekeeping, and upkeep of assigned LEGO teaching kits.
Respond quickly to communications from management.
Regularly communicate with Area Manager with questions, concerns, and updates.
