The STEM Facilitator is a casual position that facilitates program sessions to youth in grades K-12. STEM Facilitator work in partnership with the Girl Experience Department, volunteers, and staff to implement and oversee the delivery of high quality, technical STEM program experiences. Facilitators also assist with the collection and tracking of necessary program documentation and evaluation pieces as required by the program. Program needs are assigned on a session-by-session basis. STEM Facilitators can work the shifts that they are qualified for and that fit their schedules up to 20 hours per week. Most STEM programs will fall into one of the following categories: Field Trips- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM during the school year. STEM Summer Camps- Monday- Friday 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM or 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM. Weekend Workshops- Saturday or Sunday, 3-hour blocks within the window of 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Evening Experiences- Tuesday-Saturday within the window of 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM. Most STEM programs will take place at one of these locations: GSNEO STEM Center of Excellence, 6751 Akron Peninsula Rd.
