Steiner Desk Receptionists Hourly Pay
About The Position
This is a student hourly position for Steiner Desk Receptionists at the Universities of Wisconsin. The starting hourly rate is $9.00. Students can work a maximum of 25 hours per week during academic semesters. The role involves greeting residents and guests, facilitating guest registration, serving as a resource, facilitating equipment checkout, sorting and distributing mail, assisting students with work orders, and maintaining the front desk environment. Requirements
- Must pass a Criminal Background Check, Misconduct Reference Check, and Position of Trust with vulnerable populations check.

Responsibilities
- Greet residents and guests of the hall
- Assist in facilitating guest registration
- Serve as a resource to students and guests by answering questions, taking messages, posting signs, etc.
- Facilitate equipment checkout
- Sort and distribute mail
- Assist students with documenting/submitting a work orders
- Keep front desk environment organized and clean
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Hall Director
