About The Position

We are seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Steel Worker / Utility. Job/ Fabricator responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: · Assisting with and/or operating mobile equipment · Shipping, receiving and order fulfillment · Mig welding · Horizontal saw operation Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Steel Worker/Utility will be an integral member of the Nucor Skyline team. A successful candidate must be able to work independently as well as in a group, and be willing and able to work off shifts (2nd or 3rd), not to exclude weekends and holidays as operating conditions require. To ensure the success of the Nucor Skyline team, safety must be at the forefront of each duty that is performed by each teammate. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, and procedures at all times. Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
Knowledge of basic hand tools
Ability to work independently as well as in a group
Willing and able to work off shifts (2nd or 3rd)
Willing and able to work weekends and holidays as operating conditions require
Ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, and procedures at all times
