About The Position
Currently hiring experienced Steel Erectors for ongoing commercial construction projects. The role involves erecting pre-engineered metal buildings and structural steel systems. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and as part of a fast-paced construction team.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience erecting metal buildings, structural steel, or related commercial construction.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying outdoor weather conditions.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite.
Nice To Haves
- Aerial Lift certification is preferred; it can be provided for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and erect pre-engineered metal building systems, including structural steel framing, wall panels, and roof systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications.
- Measure, align, and install structural components accurately.
- Bolt, weld, or fasten steel components as required.
- Install insulation, siding, trim, and other building materials.
- Safely operate aerial lifts, forklifts, hoists, and other construction equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area while following OSHA and jobsite safety standards.
- Work with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule.
