About The Position
Diligent is seeking an experienced Steel Fitter/Welder to join its day-shift team in Boca Raton, Florida. The role involves fitting and assembling steel structures according to blueprints and specifications while maintaining high safety and quality standards. The position is part of Manufacturing.
Requirements
- Experience as a Steel Fitter/Welder.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Measure, cut, and fit steel components according to specifications.
- Align and weld steel components to create structural assemblies.
- Verify measurements and alignments using precision measuring tools.
- Install miscellaneous steel items such as stairs, handrails, and support structures.
- Maintain quality control standards throughout the fitting process.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Coordinate with other trades and team members on project requirements.
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
