About The Position

Steel Erectors will be responsible for the construction of multiple different style infrastructures around the United States, on site. We are currently searching for someone skilled in the industrial fabrication industry.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in structural steel erection preferred
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Detail-oriented and consistent
• Works well as a productive member of a team
• Knowledge and experience with power tools
• Must be able to lift 40lbs at a time
• Must have excellent hand-eye coordination
• Must wear gloves, eye and ear protection when required
• Can pass a drug test and criminal background check.
• Are legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Install steel
• Read and understand product drawings
• Verify dimensions and product specifications
• Ensure that all the required parts for assembly are present
• Ensure that all parts are properly fitted, aligned, and tacked together
• Ensure that quality control standards are met
• Ensure that all safety requirements are met
• Ability to understand and fabricate components as required, job to job basis
• Correspond with PM’s and ensure projects are on track for completion
• Travel to local job sites
• Must meet all essential physical requirements necessary to do this job
