About The Position

JMT Consultants is seeking a Steel Detailing Project Manager for a full-time permanent position. This role is remote and based in Ontario. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of steel structures and will guide projects from inception to completion, managing detailing, fabrication, and assembly to ensure precision and quality. The role involves crafting effective project plans, executing intricate designs, and coordinating with architectural and engineering blueprints. Leadership is key to keeping projects on schedule and ensuring exceptional client service. Requirements

Advanced Tekla Structures skills.
3-5 years of project management experience in steel detailing or a related field.
Expertise in structural and miscellaneous steel construction.
Ability to interpret fabrication drawings.
Motivated self-starter who thrives on juggling multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Relevant Diploma, Certificate or work experience.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

Lead project management from initial planning through to delivery.
Apply advanced Tekla Structures skills to steer design and detailing processes.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and fabricators to ensure project success.
Manage project schedules, oversee RFIs, and handle change orders.
Cultivate a cooperative and high-energy team environment.
Ensure client satisfaction through direct engagement, communication, and problem-solving.
