About The Position

Feralloy Corporation, a large high-volume steel processing company, is hiring multiple full-time Crane Operators, Machine Operators, and Packers for its fast-paced steel service center. Requirements

Previous overhead crane operating experience preferred (2+ years preferred).
Experience in a steel processing, manufacturing, or warehouse environment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to make sound decisions and follow established procedures.
Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work effectively with team members and supervisors.
Willingness to work night or overnight shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently according to work orders and customer specifications.
Load, unload, move, and stage materials using overhead cranes and other material handling equipment.
Inspect materials for quality, dimensions, and defects throughout the production and packaging process.
Package, wrap, band, and secure finished products to meet customer requirements.
Complete production and inspection documentation accurately and report any quality or safety concerns.
Maintain production flow by coordinating material movement and assisting team members as needed.
Perform routine equipment checks and follow all safety procedures while operating machinery and cranes.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris to promote a safe work environment.
