About The Position

JOMAC Ltd. is a family-owned manufacturer with nearly 40 years of experience building custom aluminum truck bodies and equipment for customers nationwide. We are seeking a Welder / Fabricator with MIG welding experience in aluminum and/or steel, preferably both. This role supports fabrication of custom truck bodies and related equipment in a clean, organized shop environment.

Requirements

• 1+ year of MIG welding experience.
• Experience welding aluminum, steel, or both.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings.
• Ability to use measuring tools accurately.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in both aluminum and steel preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• MIG weld aluminum and steel components.
• Work with aluminum alloys (5052 / 6061) and mild steel.
• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Fit, assemble, and square parts using jigs and fixtures.
• Prep, weld, grind, and finish components.
• Use common shop power and hand tools.
• Follow all safety and quality standards.
