STEAM Club After-School Aide
About The Position
Founded in 1971, Colorado Springs Christian Schools (CSCS) is one of Colorado’s leading Christian educational schools for grades K-12. CSCS is a private, non-denominational school accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the North North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI). CSCS exists to provide an excellent education from a Christ-centered, biblical perspective for lifelong service. The STEAM aide assists STEAM teachers with elementary students. This position provides for various duties so flexibility and willingness to assist where needed is essential.
Requirements
- Willing to be CPR certified and complete training in basic first aid skills. (After School aide)
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with children, parents and co-workers at all times.
- Must be minimum age of 16 years old
- Commits and fully supports the missional and organizational standards including our Core Values, Mission Statement and Doctrinal Statement, and Statement of Faith and Christian Beliefs
Responsibilities
- Assist with the implementation of age-appropriate activities
- Responsible for the safety and care of children in STEAM
- Monitor recess
- Work with individual students or small groups as requested
- Assist with fields trips with students
- Other duties as assigned
