About The Position
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging STEAM After School Instructor to lead our Business & Finance program for K-5th grade students. This role involves teaching classes on Mondays and Tuesdays from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at our West Bloomfield locations. The instructor will be responsible for delivering program content, managing the classroom, and ensuring a positive learning experience for all students. Multiple class date options are available.
Requirements
- Experience in teaching or instructing children, preferably in a STEAM-related field.
- Knowledge of Business & Finance concepts suitable for K-5th grade.
- Ability to manage a classroom of young students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual for scheduled class times.
- Must be available to teach on Mondays and Tuesdays from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
- Background check may be required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with curriculum development for elementary students.
- A degree or certification in Business, Finance, Education, or a related STEAM field.
- Experience with after-school programs or camp settings.
- Familiarity with STEAM education principles.
Responsibilities
