About The Position

Maintain heating and cooling systems work with numerous system parts and mechanisms, to maintain, diagnose and correct HVAC system problems. This includes replacing parts and adjusting system controls for better performance by using special tools and diagnostic equipment. Effectively and efficiently maintain the HVAC, Refrigeration, Ice Plant, Boilers, and all other critical equipment within the Chelsea Inflight Kitchen.

Requirements

EPA Universal License
Second-Grade Stationary Engineer License required
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
Demonstrated strong technical knowledge
Attention to details and excellent trouble shooting and problem solving skills.
Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to be badged to work in secure areas of an airport

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with the customer, coworkers, and management staff.
Accept and complete work delegated by work order coordinator, supervision or via the CMMS.
Inputs accurate information into the CMMS.
Responsible for verifying all work is being done correctly, safely, environmentally compliant, and on time.
Perform all work in a safe and effective manner pursuant to all local, state, and federal guidelines.
Responsible for overtime requests, Performa entries, etc.
Responsible for completion of projects and special assigned work.
Responsible for utilizing time effectively and efficiently.
Responsible for training and mentoring other technicians.
Responsible for following the rules set forth in the employee handbook.
Complete all PM and CM logs and paperwork.
Comply with the company safety program and trainings.
Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment.
Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
