About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Stationary Engineer to join our Maintenance team at our Euclid, Ohio manufacturing facility. The Stationary Engineer will support the safe, reliable operation and maintenance of critical facility and utility systems that keep our manufacturing operations running. This position will monitor, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain systems such as boilers, HVAC equipment, compressed air, pumps, cooling systems, and other mechanical and facility infrastructure. This is a hands-on technical role for an experienced professional who understands industrial utility systems, takes a proactive approach to equipment reliability, and can effectively troubleshoot issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Stationary Engineer, Operating Engineer, Facilities Technician, Industrial Maintenance Technician, or similar industrial role
  • Experience operating and maintaining boilers and other industrial utility systems
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and equipment repair skills
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, compressed air, pumps, piping, cooling, and related facility systems
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, equipment manuals, blueprints, and technical documentation
  • Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently troubleshoot equipment and facility issues
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety, equipment reliability, and preventive maintenance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance documentation preferred
  • Applicable stationary engineer, boiler operator, or other required licenses/certifications preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, inspect, and maintain boilers, HVAC systems, compressed air systems, pumps, cooling systems, and other facility utility equipment.
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maintain reliable operation of critical plant systems.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control-related issues associated with facility and utility equipment.
  • Monitor system pressures, temperatures, operating conditions, and equipment performance to identify potential issues before failures occur.
  • Perform routine inspections, equipment checks, testing, adjustments, and repairs in accordance with established maintenance procedures.
  • Respond to facility and equipment issues, diagnose failures, and complete timely repairs to minimize disruption to manufacturing operations.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance, inspection, and operating records and support required CMMS documentation.
  • Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, Production, and outside contractors on equipment repairs, installations, facility improvements, and reliability initiatives.
  • Follow all applicable OSHA requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, environmental requirements, facility safety standards, and required operating practices.
