The Station QHS Manager is responsible for driving compliance to QHS policies, programs, and initiatives to improve the quality of processes and services. This role aids operations in evaluating current processes to identify areas for improvement, acting as the Site’s subject matter expert and liaison for the Crane Worldwide Quality Management System and external standards like ISO and GDP. The manager will establish quality improvement project teams, lead quality management efforts, and develop new tools and systems for quality improvement. Additionally, the role involves defining and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures, acting as the Site’s subject matter expert for the Crane Safety Program, and ensuring compliance with local safety regulations and Crane’s global policy for Safety Committees. Collaboration with the Global QHSE Director is key for local safety training, equipment maintenance, and forklift training. The position also requires active maintenance of training documentation, development of site emergency response plans, coordination with vendors for emergency events, and ensuring Dangerous Goods regulatory compliance. Incident reporting and investigation are also crucial aspects of this role.
