The Station QHS Manager will drive compliance to QHS policies, programs, and initiatives to improve the quality of processes and services. This role will aid operations in evaluating current processes to determine areas of improvement in accordance with quality procedures. The manager will act as the Site’s subject matter expert and liaison for the Crane Worldwide Quality Management System, external standards (including ISO & GDP), and the Crane Safety Program. This position involves establishing quality improvement project teams, leading the business in quality management, and developing new tools and systems for quality improvement. The role also includes defining standard operating procedures, ensuring adherence to documented procedures, and promoting compliance with Crane’s global safety policies. Collaboration with the Global QHSE Director is key for local safety training, equipment maintenance, and forklift training. The manager will maintain training documentation, develop site emergency response plans, and ensure dangerous goods regulatory compliance. Incident reporting and investigation are also critical functions. Other duties as assigned.
