About The Position

The Station Attendant prepares, presents, and serves food as needed at Marywood University. The role includes food preparation, handling and storing ingredients safely, maintaining clean work areas and equipment, and serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner. The attendant follows approved recipes, production standards, sanitation and safety requirements, and inventory and cash control procedures. The role may include other assigned duties. Prior food service experience is preferred but not required; training is provided. Full-time and part-time schedules are available, with days and hours varying and some weekends required. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities

Perform food preparation, including washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stoves, and refrigerators in accordance with safety standards.
Store food in designated areas using wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner according to outlined service steps.
Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
Comply with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
