The Arizona Game and Fish Department is seeking an experienced, proactive leader to serve as the Statewide Shooting Range Program Manager. In this role, you will lead the strategic vision, day-to-day administration, and property stewardship for the Department’s Statewide Shooting Range Program. You will play a vital part in expanding safe public access to shooting sports, maintaining high-standard recreational facilities, and managing critical partnerships across local, state, and federal levels. This position provides management and day to day administration of the Department’s Statewide Shooting Range Program. Duties include oversight and management of development, operations and maintenance of new and existing Commission-owned ranges and the license agreements operated under. The position is responsible for carrying out the Department's strategic vision for shooting ranges requiring fiscal accountability, planning abilities, excellent customer service and ability to handle conflicts with constituents and partners. The position requires strategic planning, organization, and budget planning. This position also administers the Shooting Range Development Grant Program. This position supervises the Statewide Shooting Range Specialist and is responsible for directing that position's daily activities. The position frequently requires assignments in the absence of the Branch Chief. The position is the designated property steward for identified Commission-owned ranges and assets therein. The position will require frequent travel.
