About The Position

We are looking for an energetic, safety-minded Shooting Range Assistant to work on our premier Rifle/Pistol range. Help us provide a safe, world-class experience for over 240,000 annual visitors! Requirements

Valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Must legally be able to possess a firearm under 18 U.S. Code § 922(g).
Pass a pre-employment medical exam (includes blood lead/zinc, hearing test).
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Ability to interact and work with a diverse variety of customers, user groups, and employees.
Safety mindset and be prepared to enforce range safety rules equally at all times.
Ability to work outdoors (heat, cold, wind, dust) and handle physical tasks (sweeping, cleaning).
Availability for a rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Position requires possession of and the ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver’s license appropriate to the assignment.

Responsibilities

Enforce range rules rigorously, ensuring a safe, family-friendly environment.
Interact with diverse shooters, providing courteous service at our high-volume, 67-table range.
Maintain the range, assist in setting up competitions, and support staff, ensuring premium conditions.
Observes public shooting and ensures a safe and family-friendly range experience for all customers.
Performs daily maintenance tasks to include emptying trash cans, sweeping brass, and assisting in the care of landscape and other facility maintenance/custodial duties.
Assists range staff in set-up and preparation of the ranges, introductory shooting programs, shooting competitions, and other shooting sports activities throughout the season.
