About The Position

The Statewide Dual Credit (SDC) Grader completes independent work grading SDC exams in assigned course shells using a pre-determined rubric. The grader provides grades and comments in the LMS. Grading takes place at the end of each semester.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in American History, World History, Speech, or Marketing or related field.
  • Content area expertise in American History, World History, Speech, or Marketing or experience teaching a similar postsecondary course in a postsecondary institution or dual enrollment/dual credit environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to plan efficient workstreams.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience grading History essays or Marketing Plans in similar college credit bearing exams.
  • Previous experience grading SDC exams.

Responsibilities

  • Grade all assigned student essays, speeches, and or marketing plans using a pre-determined rubric.
  • Enter grades and comments in the LMS.
  • Maintain a Grader Log indicating the dates and times of grading, number of students graded, and number of students with no or irrelevant submissions for each course code.
  • Report any suspicion of plagiarism by providing the course code, student name, ID number, and link to the potential source to the EPSO Coordinator.
  • Provide any other reporting as needed to support the SDC grading process.
  • Attend all training and collaboration meetings.
