About The Position

Marietta Heights Post Acute is hiring a compassionate, dependable STNA for a full-time night shift role in long-term care. The STNA helps residents with daily needs and mobility, monitors and reports changes in condition, and contributes to a clean, safe, comfortable environment. The role calls for respectful, compassionate care that honors residents’ privacy, dignity, and individual needs, as well as accurate documentation and professional collaboration with nurses and other team members. Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements

Current, valid STNA certification in the state of Ohio.
Demonstrated compassion, patience, and respect for residents.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow care plans, facility policies, and safety procedures.
Ability to perform the physical duties required of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Nice To Haves

Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing staff.
Take and record vital signs as assigned.
Assist residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
Provide compassionate care while respecting residents’ privacy, dignity, and individual needs.
Answer call lights promptly and respond to residents’ requests.
Document care accurately and complete assigned duties according to facility policies.
Communicate professionally and work collaboratively with nurses and other team members.
