About The Position

We are excited to announce multiple openings within DAS State Procurement Services for State IT Procurement Analysts. These opportunities include: One permanent, full-time position. Underfill Opportunity: The goal is to fill this role at the State Procurement Analyst level. However, applicants who meet the minimum qualifications for Procurement & Contract Specialist 3 (SR 29, $5,988–$9,191) are encouraged to apply. We may underfill the position until the selected candidate meets the MQs for the State Procurement Analyst classification. Underfill training may last up to three years. One limited duration position (through June 30, 2027). These may be filled as a limited duration appointment or as a job rotation. Job rotation candidates who do not meet the MQs for the State Procurement Analyst may be considered as developmental job rotations. Extensions are possible depending on funding and workload. Requirements

  • State Procurement Analyst: Six years procurement and contract experience related to the position. Four of the six years must have been leading the development and administration of complex procurements.
  • OR a bachelor’s degree and three years leading the development and administration of complex procurements.
  • OR Any combination of experience and education equivalent to six years of procurement and contract experience related to the position. Experience must include IT procurement or technology contracting.
  • Procurement & Contract Specialist 3 (Underfill): Five years procurement and contract experience related to the position such as developing and administering standard contracts, agreements, or solicitations.
  • OR a bachelor’s degree and two years of professional-level procurement and contract experience related to the position.
  • OR Any combination of experience and education equivalent to five years of procurement and contract experience related to the position.
  • Employee is required to possess and maintain a valid driver’s license issued by the state where the employee resides.

  • Influence statewide technology investments and vendor partnerships
  • Help shape Oregon’s procurement future while upholding strong ethical and legal standards

Benefits

  • The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect the additional 6.95%.
