Review and prepare consolidated federal, multi-state and city tax returns for C corporations, S corporation, partnerships and high-net-worth individuals. Provide support to clients with their tax planning, compliance and consulting needs. Responsible for preparing and reviewing complex tax returns and supporting documents including conducting research to optimize tax strategies. Assist in managing the tax team in the planning, maintenance and execution of client deliverables and engagement economics. Build and maintain client satisfaction through strong relationships and expertise. Participate, self-educate and develop others in tax learnings, tax regulations and industry and technology trends. Assist in managing, developing and coaching staff and interns. 5% domestic travel to NY & CA req’d. Must report to Dallas, TX office location. Partial telecommuting available 2-3 days a week.

Requirements

  • Requires a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, foreign equivalent or closely related field.
  • Position requires six (6) months of experience in job offered, Graduate Assistant, Intern, or related occupation.
  • Position requires six (6) months of experience in: Statistical software proficiency; Prepare amended tax returns; Audit procedures with systems such as Banner, and Campus Logic; Understanding of tax rules and regulations; Tax technology, software and data; and State and local tax rules.
  • Certified Member of the Institute (“CMI”) certification required.
  • Must report to Dallas, TX office location.
