The responsibilities include research, policy development, program planning, implementation, and assessment of programs related to broadband and technology adoption and digital opportunities. Incumbent is a liaison with the public, businesses, ISPs, state agencies, legislature, and other critical stakeholders. This position represents the office and the agency at meetings with internal and external customers. Also, directs the activities of staff responsible for broadband and technology adoption and digital opportunities. The official workstation for this position will be the successful candidate’s home. However, this is a field position that requires regular travel throughout the state. All work must be performed in Michigan. If you currently reside outside of Michigan, you must relocate to Michigan to perform the duties of this position.
