About The Position

The Starlink Installation Technician visits customers’ homes to install and service DISH equipment and smart home products, troubleshoot problems, and introduce customers to smart home technology. Technicians educate customers on using their technology and offer additional services when appropriate. The role requires maintaining a clean work area and a professional attitude while working independently and staying connected with the team. EchoStar provides paid training, including step-by-step installation and service guidance, smart home technology education, and best practices from experienced technicians. The position offers a company-provided van, tools, and uniforms, along with career-development and promotion opportunities.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license; driving a company vehicle to customer sites and regional offices is an essential job function.
Willingness to travel as needed and flexibility to work shifts that may include evenings, weekends, or holidays.
Ability to climb ladders up to 40 feet.
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
Must meet and maintain a 335-pound weight limit.
Customer focus and ability to build trust and create a positive customer experience.
Problem-solving ability to handle a variety of challenges on the spot.
Determination to work in tight spaces and in all kinds of weather.
Adaptability to changes and unexpected tasks.
Successful completion of a pre-employment screen, including a drug test, and an acceptable driving record.
