About The Position

The DoubleTree by Hilton South Bend is seeking a passionate, service-driven leader to join their team as a Starbucks Supervisor. This role involves leading a team, driving results, developing future leaders, and creating memorable experiences for hotel guests, travelers, local professionals, and visitors to downtown South Bend. The Starbucks Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, coaching and developing team members, maintaining Starbucks brand standards, and ensuring every guest receives exceptional service. The leader will set the tone for the team, creating a welcoming, energetic, and excellence-focused environment.

Requirements

  • Previous Starbucks, coffee shop, hospitality, food service, or retail experience preferred.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for guest service and team development.
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the daily operation of the Starbucks café.
  • Coach, train, and develop baristas to ensure exceptional guest service and product quality.
  • Maintain Starbucks standards for beverage preparation, food presentation, cleanliness, and customer experience.
  • Assist with scheduling, inventory management, ordering, merchandising, and operational planning.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
  • Address guest concerns professionally and effectively.
  • Foster a positive team culture focused on accountability, growth, and teamwork.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management initiatives.
  • Monitor labor and operational efficiency while maintaining service excellence.
