About The Position

This position contributes to Starbucks success by assisting the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. This job deploys partners and delegates tasks so that partners can create and maintain the Starbucks Experience for our customers. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles and Silverton’s Code of Conduct.

Requirements

Starbucks barista experience required
Certification as a Starbucks barista trainer required
Previous Food & Beverage experience required
Identification that establishes identity
Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
Valid health card

Nice To Haves

Previous supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

Ability to handle cash and multitask.
Making handcrafted beverages to meet Starbucks’ standards.
Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, and body language.
Requires prolonged standing and walking with full mobility (i.e. bending and reaching from a level height to 6 feet).
Ability to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds.
Normal hearing, vision, hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity required.
Ability to perform under stressful, demanding situations in perhaps small quarters of four feet or less, with four foot access and contact with Team Members and Guests.
Ability to work in a smoking environment.
Maintains an awareness of applicable laws and operates within those guidelines.
Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Assists General Manager in most supervisor duties, to include, but is not limited to, coaching, training, daily ordering, Micros issues and inventory.
Ability to work well under pressure and make judgment calls as required in the absence of the General Manager.
Maintains some accountability for store operations, associate development and financial contribution.
Acts as a role model while providing guidance and training to Team Members on performance expectations.
Adhere to all Starbucks as well as Silverton policies and procedures.
Acts as MOD in the absence of the General Manager.
Maintain a high quality of guest service according to Silverton Be Amazing Service Standards.
Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.
Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards.
Maintain an open line of communication with Managers.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guests, fellow Team Members, and Vendors.
Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.
Regular attendance on all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.
Arriving on time for all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.
