About The Position
Joplin 44 Petro is hiring an energetic, customer-service-driven Starbucks Barista for a part-time position. The role involves welcoming guests, remembering regular customers’ orders, and providing high-quality products and service in a fast-paced environment. The position can include day and evening work, with schedules described as flexible, and is limited to up to 20 hours per week. Starbucks is located inside Joplin 44 Petro. The location’s hours of operation are 5:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily. This is an on-site, non-remote position. A pre-employment drug test and background check are required, and employees are subject to random drug testing.
Requirements
- High personal level of integrity, professionalism, and maturity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning.
- Ability to stand and walk around a restaurant for up to 8 hours.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and occasionally raise arms above the head.
- Must be able to work days and evenings.
