About The Position

Prysmian is hiring a Stand Up Forklift Driver to move and stack products and materials safely in a production environment. The role operates a stand-up reach forklift, performs pre- and post-operation equipment inspections, stacks empty pallets and reels, and follows safety procedures. Employees must follow supervisor directions and maintain reliable attendance. The position is located at 910 Elm St, McKinney, Texas, and is scheduled from 6 PM to 6 AM. Starting pay is $20 per hour, with an additional $2 per hour night shift differential and overtime opportunities paid at time and a half. Candidates must pass a driven forklift exam and undergo an onsite drug screen.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of stand-up reach forklift experience.
• Experience moving large loads.
• Ability to safely move full and empty pallets with a forklift in the work area.
• Ability to perform the listed essential duties and responsibilities.
• Reliable attendance.
• Must pass a driven forklift exam.
• Must be willing to undergo an onsite drug screen.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds while bending, twisting, or standing.
• Comfort with repetitive movement, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.
• Ability to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up reach forklift.
• Move or stack products and materials at specified locations safely.
• Perform routine pre- and post-operation forklift inspections.
• Stack empty pallets, reels, and similar items.
• Follow safety policies, practices, and procedures in accordance with OSHA.
• Report unsafe activities to a supervisor or the safety team.
• Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
• Follow supervisor directions and requirements of assigned jobs.
• Move full and empty pallets safely within the work area.
• Identify when routine maintenance may be needed.
