About The Position

Prysmian is hiring a Stand Up Forklift Driver for its McKinney, Texas location. The role operates a stand-up reach forklift to move and stack products and materials safely, conduct routine pre- and post-operation equipment inspections, and stack empty pallets and reels. The driver follows OSHA-related safety policies and procedures, reports unsafe activities to a supervisor or the safety team, maintains reliable attendance, and follows supervisor directions and the requirements of assigned jobs. Candidates must pass a driven forklift exam and undergo an onsite drug screen. The position pays $20 per hour, plus a $2 shift premium. The schedule is 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., with overtime opportunities paid at time and a half.

Requirements

• Pass a driven forklift exam.
• Be willing to undergo an onsite drug screen.
• Have at least 1 year of stand-up reach forklift experience.
• Be able to safely move full and empty pallets using a forklift in the work area.
• Have experience moving large loads.
• Be able to identify when routine maintenance may be needed.
• Maintain reliable attendance.
• Be comfortable with repetitive movement, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds while bending, twisting, and/or standing.

Responsibilities
