Under routine supervision of the Die Set Supervisor, this role is responsible for maintaining dies for stamping presses, changing and adjusting dies, and preparing, maintaining, and troubleshooting die and jig tools. The position requires a thorough knowledge of company policies related to safety, environmental protection, and quality control, along with excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills. The ability to read and understand technical drawings, operate various shop tools, and possess good communication and math skills is essential. Physical requirements include the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, reach above and below shoulder height, climb stairs and ladders, and perform various physical motions such as twisting, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling, and walking on uneven ground. Experience with metal stamping and forming operations, machine shop, and welding is required.
