About The Position

Transferring and/or progressive Stamping Press Operator needed to set up and operate stamping press machines according to job specifications and production schedules. This role involves inspecting raw materials and finished products, adjusting machine settings, performing routine maintenance, documenting production data, and collaborating with maintenance personnel to resolve mechanical problems. The operator must follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating stamping press, working with coiled steel, & OR automated production lines.
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to read blueprints or technical drawings.
• Familiarity with safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading are essential for interpreting job requirements and making precise machine adjustments.
• Communication and teamwork skills facilitate effective collaboration with maintenance and quality assurance teams to resolve issues quickly.

Nice To Haves

• Machine operation & basic maintenance.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and statistical process control (SPC).
• Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate stamping press machines according to job specifications and production schedules.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and tolerances.
• Adjust machine settings such as speed, pressure, and feed to optimize production efficiency and product quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of stamping press equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Document production data, machine performance, and any issues encountered during shifts for reporting and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel to identify and resolve mechanical problems promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
