About The Position

Southern Staircase, an Edge Building Solutions company, is seeking an experienced Stair Installation & Delivery Technician to join their growing construction team. This role involves transporting stair systems to construction sites and playing an essential role in the installation of custom staircases for residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate has a solid background in carpentry, framing, or woodworking and takes pride in delivering exceptional craftsmanship.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in framing, carpentry, woodworking, or a related construction field
Experience operating common carpentry tools, including saws, drills, levels, and measuring equipment
The ability to interpret blueprints and construction layouts
A valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
A DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain one
Must be at least 21 years old
Ability to regularly lift materials weighing up to 75 pounds and work in outdoor construction environments
A dependable attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality craftsmanship

Responsibilities

Install custom straight, curved, and specialty stair systems at active construction sites
Read blueprints, layouts, and project drawings to complete quality installations
Measure, trim, level, fasten, and assemble stair components using hand and power tools
Safely transport stair materials using a 26-foot box truck
Load and unload products weighing up to 75 pounds
Provide warehouse support when operational needs arise
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas while representing the company professionally
