About The Position

Southern Staircase is looking for an experienced Stair Installation & Delivery Driver to join their growing team. This position is ideal for someone with a background in framing, carpentry, or woodworking who enjoys hands-on construction work and takes pride in quality craftsmanship. While you'll transport stair systems to job sites, your primary responsibility is installing custom staircases in residential and commercial projects. Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in framing, carpentry, woodworking, or a related construction trade
Experience using drills, saws, levels, tape measures, and other common carpentry tools
The ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work outdoors
A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
A current DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain one
Must be at least 21 years of age

Responsibilities

Install straight, curved, and custom staircase systems at residential and commercial construction sites
Read construction drawings, layouts, and installation instructions
Measure, level, cut, shim, and secure stair components using hand and power tools
Load, transport, and unload stair materials weighing up to 75 pounds
Safely operate a 26-foot box truck for scheduled deliveries
Support warehouse operations when additional assistance is needed
