About The Position

Haleon is currently seeking a Technical Services Intern to join the Montreal (Saint-Laurent) team. The Technical Services Intern contributes to supporting production operations and technical infrastructures in a GMP/BPF compliant pharmaceutical environment. They participate in the optimization of equipment, processes, and facilities while developing their skills in engineering and process.

Requirements

Student in engineering (mechanical, chemical, industrial, biomedical or equivalent) or sciences
Interest in the pharmaceutical field and regulated environments
Analytical mindset and ability to solve technical problems
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Basic knowledge of GMP standards (an asset)

Nice To Haves

Understanding of technical systems in a pharmaceutical environment
Experience in continuous improvement and problem-solving
Familiarity with regulatory requirements (GMP/BPF)
Technical project management

Responsibilities

Assist the technical services team in preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment and utilities (HVAC, purified water, etc.)
Participate in the analysis of technical problems and propose continuous improvement solutions
Participate in engineering projects (equipment improvement, process optimization, downtime reduction)
Support the writing and updating of technical documentation (SOP, reports, qualification protocols)
Participate in qualification and validation activities
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
Collaborate with production, quality, and validation teams
