About The Position

Quest Events is seeking a part-time Stagehand Driver to support event setup and strike, especially for pipe and drape, as well as work with other related event equipment. The role includes installing and caring for company property, driving and maintaining company vehicles, communicating with clients and office personnel, and occasionally assisting with warehouse duties. Event hours are necessary, and the position requires flexible hours.

Requirements

• Event experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 62 pounds.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Extremely flexible hours are required; event hours apply.
• Extreme attention to detail.
• Patience, flexibility, and ability to work well in stressful situations.

Nice To Haves

• Theatrical, AV, event decor, lighting, and/or sound background.
• Experience driving box trucks.
• Possession of a valid DOT Medical Certificate or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Install company property safely and properly, including drape, carpet, rope and stanchions, AVD, and other items.
• Care for and properly maintain company gear and property.
• Operate company vehicles, including using company GPS systems safely.
• Keep vehicles clean and return them to the shop fueled.
• Secure all loads properly during transport.
• Safely load and unload company vehicles.
• Inspect company vehicles before and after use.
• Submit parking tickets to management and notify management of vehicle-related citations.
• Use ladders, lifts, and other applicable equipment safely.
• Communicate consistently and promptly with clients, including providing job-site arrival times.
• Secure client signatures related to Royal Rules and client receipts.
• Communicate concisely and relevantly with office and operations personnel.
• Occasionally perform warehouse work, including loading and unloading vehicles, pulling and packing jobs, laundry, folding, and scanning returned jobs.
• Wear black pants or shorts and a company-supplied shirt while working.
• Carry a leather-type multitool or similar while working.
