About The Position

The American Red Cross is seeking a customer-focused, compassionate Driver to transport blood donors. The Driver operates vehicles safely and within traffic laws, provides basic information and positive, proactive customer service, and maintains vehicle condition by keeping the vehicle clean and checking fluid and gas levels. The position is scheduled for 20 hours per week, according to the employee's availability, and pays $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean DMV record.
• Ability to drive for long periods of time.

• Previous experience in transportation, delivery, or courier service.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport blood donors while operating the vehicle in accordance with traffic laws.
• Provide basic information and interact positively and proactively with employees and other customers.
• Keep the vehicle clean and check fluid and gas levels to maintain its condition.
• Show up for every shift and give full effort while on shift.
