The position is based at our Longueuil location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site. Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Pursuing studies in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Computer Engineering.

  • Working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to defining software requirements, participate in software validation/acceptance, and follow up with developers.
  • Support the commissioning of the FAST/DCTU product and analyze data from the first units installed on the aircraft.
  • Validate and monitor in-service engine data on systems installed on aircraft for the P&WC operator fleet.
  • Working within the Digital Engine Services (DES) – Ground Station team, responsible for ingesting engine diagnostic and performance monitoring data.
  • Learn the complete processing of flight data for engine/aircraft information from onboard recorders (FAST/DCTU) in order to carry out engine health monitoring.
  • Conduct continuous improvement studies on data-processing software for engines in service.
  • Write and standardize procedure documents and training documents for all processes.
