About The Position

Surge Staffing is seeking a motivated, energetic, and customer-focused Staffing Specialist for a full-time, permanent internal position. The role offers an opportunity for someone with sales, customer service, recruiting, or business development experience to develop a career in staffing and workforce solutions. The position combines recruiting, client service, relationship management, sales, and branch operational support in a fast-paced environment. Local travel to client locations may be needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of sales and/or customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and results-driven approach.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally to client locations as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, human resources, customer service, or business development.
• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• Skills in customer service, recruiting, sales, business development, relationship management, talent acquisition, lead generation, account management, interviewing, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and temporary employees.
• Recruit, screen, interview, and onboard qualified candidates.
• Source candidates through job boards, resume databases, referrals, and recruiting platforms.
• Match candidate skills and experience with client staffing needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and temporary associates.
• Conduct follow-up calls to support employee satisfaction and successful placements.
• Generate and develop business opportunities through sales and networking.
• Conduct client service calls and outside sales visits to maintain and grow business partnerships.
• Promote Surge Staffing services and identify additional staffing solutions for customers.
• Support branch operations through administrative and data entry tasks.
• Assist with employee coaching, performance management, and retention.
• Resolve employee and client concerns professionally and promptly.
• Support branch growth initiatives and contribute to revenue goals.
