About The Position

The staffing operations coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and staffing clerical operations for Denver Health's Staffing Office under moderate supervision. Collaborates with team members, direct manager and other members for all inpatient and select outpatient areas. Responsible for data input for daily staffing data and updating all staffing assignments in time and attendance. Maintains and runs daily reporting for staffing use. Works closely with the on-shift ACC to disperse float staff and manage shift sick calls and other administrative needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • 1-3 years Typically, two plus years of professional experience in healthcare administration.
  • Knowledge of operational management and improvement practices sufficient to be able to accomplish assigned division objectives.

  • Related experience in ambulatory administration, project management, operations management, business development, budget development, financial and operational modeling/forecasting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies strategies for sustaining and improving existing processes and needed processes.

  • Manages clerical duties for on shift ACC including updating Time and Attendance.
  • Monitors accomplishments against objectives.
  • Prepares annual, quarterly, monthly and daily reports for nursing leadership.
  • Manages attendance data for the enterprise by running reporting in Time and Attendance and uploading reports into Smartsheet.
  • Manages extra shift signups coming through the staffing office.
  • Manages email correspondence for clerical duties with inpatient leadership.
  • Assist leaders with entering sick calls and other time and attendance data as needed.
