About The Position

The Staffing Generalist plays a key role in supporting both hourly and exempt-level recruiting efforts while partnering closely with the Staffing Manager and HR leadership team. This position is responsible for leading the recruiting processes, coordinating onboarding, and ensuring a positive candidate and employee experience throughout the hiring lifecycle. This is a non-entry level role requiring prior HR and recruiting experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. In addition to supporting hourly staffing needs, this position will also serve as a backup resource for exempt-level recruiting and hiring processes and will assist in filling professional and leadership roles as needed. The Staffing Generalist will also provide direct support to the Staffing Manager on special projects, recruiting initiatives, and workforce planning activities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of prior experience in Human Resources, recruiting, or staffing (manufacturing or industrial environment)
  • Experience supporting full-cycle recruiting, including high-volume hiring
  • Prior exposure to exempt-level or professional recruiting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with HR systems, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support full-cycle hourly recruiting efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, and offer processing
  • Assist with and provide backup support for exempt-level recruiting, including professional and leadership roles
  • Partner closely with the Staffing Manager to execute staffing strategies and hiring initiatives
  • Lead onboarding processes and facilitate new hire orientation sessions
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Conduct plant tours and represent the company during candidate and community interactions
  • Support workforce planning efforts in collaboration with HR and operations leadership
  • Maintain accurate HRIS records, staffing reports, and compliance documentation
  • Assist with employee engagement, retention initiatives, and attendance-related reporting
  • Support recruiting events, job fairs, and community outreach initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting and onboarding processes for efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and internal procedures
